ScreenBox Operative

As a Screen box operative, you will be an important part of the assembly team in ensuring that all component parts are fitted accurately and in accordance with the company’s high-quality standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Fitting screen box component parts accurately and timely to ensure products meet production deadlines. This includes but not limited to building bearings, fitting shafts, screen media and rubbers.
  • Working in a team-based environment producing high quality products.
  • Reading engineering and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Operating power tools and manual tools.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
  • Complying with all health and safety standards.
  • Be willing and able to work in other areas as and when required.


  • 1 years’ experience in a similar type role fitting screen boxes.
  • Previous experience gained within the engineering industry.
  • The ability to work independently and to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

As a Welder you will work as part of an effective production team, constantly ensuring that all materials are welded to a high-quality standard in order to meet customers ongoing demands.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for:
– MIG Welding materials together using various tools and equipment.
– Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
– Examining welds and ensuring that al welds meet quality standards.
– Operating Power Tools.
– Adhering to all Health & Safety Regulations.
– Ability to work as part of a team and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
– Outstanding communication and time management skills.
– Great attention to detail.
