Placement Engineer

As a placement engineer you will report to both the Engineering & Production Manager, assisting on various engineering projects in order to continuously progress and improve the Anaconda range of products within production.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

– Working with functional departments to improve machine build and service life.

– Keeping standard operations procedures up to date.

– Assisting with a range of design projects to help improve manufacturing processes.

– Following group engineering standards and associated IT Systems.

– Using 3D software to produce designs and drawings for solutions.

– Collection of goods from suppliers as and when required.


– Currently studying Engineering or a similar related degree.

– Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

– Outstanding numeracy and literacy skills.

– Ability to work as part of a team and to tight production deadlines.

– A valid UK clean drivers’ licence.

Final Assembly Fitter

As a Final Assembly Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and testing machines in their final stages for the waste, quarry and recycling industries.

You will be responsible for:

– Building, testing and running machines to ensure a high-quality standard for customers

– Setting speed and pressures on all machines.

– Operating power and manual tools.

– Working as part of the final assembly team ensuring that all components are fitted accurately and timely.

– Ensuring all products meet the build schedule and assembly deadlines.


– Previous experience working in a similar engineering industry and in final assembly.

– A strong mechanical background.

– Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

– Effective communication and team working skills.

– Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

– A willingness to work overtime as and when required.

As a Welder you will work as part of an effective production team, constantly ensuring that all materials are welded to a high-quality standard in order to meet customers ongoing demands.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for:
– MIG Welding materials together using various tools and equipment.
– Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
– Examining welds and ensuring that al welds meet quality standards.
– Operating Power Tools.
– Adhering to all Health & Safety Regulations.
– Ability to work as part of a team and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
– Outstanding communication and time management skills.
– Great attention to detail.

Drill/Saw Operative

As a Saw/Drill Operative you will be responsible for using fabrication machinery to prepare parts for production in accordance with our safety regulations and procedures.

The successful Candidate will be responsible for:

– Previous experience in a similar role preferably within an engineering company.

– Previous knowledge of machine settings

– The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

– The ability to collaborate with other teams to meet production targets.

– The ability to operate fabrication machinery within a busy production environment.

– An enthusiastic and driven attitude with excellent communication skills.
